What is Zombie Room?

Six survivors are trapped inside a sealed room during a zombie outbreak. Somewhere beyond the walls there may be an exit — but the only way to find it is to open the doors scattered around the facility. Behind each door there might be a weapon… or another zombie ready to attack.

Every turn, players take the risk of opening a new door. Sometimes they find tools to defend themselves; most of the time they unleash more undead. Each survivor has unique abilities that can change the rules while they remain alive. As zombies multiply, the room grows more dangerous and players may cooperate — but only temporarily.

Because in Zombie Room, survival is not enough. Only one survivor can escape. Alliances, betrayal, and political maneuvering decide who reaches the exit. Open the door. Face what's behind it. Be the last one alive.

How the Game Works

Open Doors

Every turn players must open a door.
Behind it there may be weapons… or zombies waiting to attack.

Fight the Undead

Zombies remain in play and attack their assigned player every round until destroyed.

Survive the Others

Players may cooperate temporarily, but only one survivor will leave the room alive.

The room is filling with zombies.
Every door makes the situation worse.

Burn everything attacking a player.

The Survivors

Nurse

Nurse

Passive — Emergency Care At the start of each round, all players recover 1 HP.
Active — Priority Heal Heal one chosen player for 3 HP. The Nurse cannot heal herself.
Police Officer

Police Officer

Passive — Secured Zone All players deal +1 damage to zombies.
Active — Coordinated Fire Choose one zombie. All attacks against it deal +1 damage this turn.
Scientist

Scientist

Passive — Pathological Analysis All zombies enter play with -1 HP.
Active — Unstable Mutation Choose a zombie. Either reduce its damage to 0 this turn or double its damage this turn.
Mercenary

Mercenary

Passive — Open Contract Any player attacking a zombie that is not targeting them deals +1 damage.
Active — Temporary Contract Choose a player. If that player takes damage this turn, the Mercenary may attack the responsible zombie for free.
Veteran Survivor

Veteran Survivor

Passive — Shared Experience The first zombie attack against each player each round deals -1 damage.
Active — Cover the Retreat Choose a player. That player cannot be killed by zombies this turn.
Demolisher

Demolisher

Passive — Chain Reaction When a zombie dies, another random zombie takes 1 damage.
Active — Shockwave Choose a zombie. When it dies, all zombies take 1 damage.

The Zombies

Zombies are the constant pressure inside the room.

They remain in play until destroyed and attack their assigned player every round.

When a zombie kills a player, that survivor becomes another zombie threat, making the room even more dangerous.
